Howard was a Surveyor for an engieering firm for 44 years. He worked in a variety of locations surveying a variety of projects including housing developments, golf courses and one of his most favorite projects...a pond at then Govenor Ronald Reagan's Santa Barabara Ranch. He worked along side Reagan to create a beautiful pond on the property. Govenor Reagan worked as hard as any other man, even helping to dig ditches alongside some of the workers. This was one of Howard's most treasured moments from his work career and he never forgot it.
